Police seek public's help to trace missing man last seen in Shotts

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in tracing the whereabouts of a man with links to the Shotts area.

Richard Wilson is 30 years of age and is described as 5ft7 in height, has short brown hair, is of medium build and has blue eyes.

When last seen he was wearing a silver and white tracksuit and white trainers.

At around 10.15pm on Saturday, August 22, Richard left an address in Drumgelloch Street, Airdrie and police believe that Richard called a taxi and was dropped off in Station Road, Shotts around 10.45pm.

Richard has not been in contact with his family who say this is out of character, he has has links to the Airdrie and Shotts communities of Lanarkshire.

Inspector Higgins, of Airdrie Police Office, said: “I encourage Richard or anyone who has information to assist this missing person investigation, to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3675 of 23rd August 2020 or email LanarkshireMissingPersons@scotland.pnn.police.uk.”
