Police searching for distinctive go-kart worth £2,500 stolen from Newcastle garage

A photo has been released of a distinctive and valuable go-kart which was stolen in a burglary in Newcastle.

At 8.30am on February 4, police received a report of a burglary at a home on Northumberland Gardens in North Walbottle.

It was reported that a petrol powered go-kart worth around £2,500 was stolen from the garage.

Officers are investigating the burglary and are asking anyone with information, or who saw something suspicious in the area, to get in touch with police.

It is believed the burglary took place between 8pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday.

Police have released a picture of the distinctive go-kart in the hope that they can trace it and return it to the owner.
