Police search for two men after assault at tapas bar in Bristol city centre

Police are investigating after a man had his eye socket fractured during an assault outside a tapas restaurant in Bristol city centre.

A 30-year-old man was assaulted outside Pata Negra on Clare Street around 11pm on Sunday, September 29.

The victim sustained a fractured eye socket and cheekbone.

Police have now released CCTV images on two men they would like to speak to regarding the incident, which they are treating as grievous bodily harm (GBH).

Avon and Somerset police has said that the men in the images might have information which could help the inquiry.

Anyone who recognises the men in the images, or has any details about the incident, should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 5219224822.
