An arrest warrant has been issued to find a suspect after a brutal gang torture and rape of a man during a nine hour ordeal.
The horrific attack happened nearly five years ago at a home in Netherton when the victim was subjected to violent, twisted and degrading sex attacks.
Ringleader Daniel Misiolek orchestrated the campaign of shocking humiliation, torturing and forcing the victim to perform depraved sex acts.
The then 41-year-old, whose face is inked with handcuffs, teardrops and the gangster motto “thug life”, was handed a life sentence, and ordered to serve at least nine years.
Misiolek’s fiance, 27-year-old Awna Baszak, who filmed part of the attack, was handed 12 years.
Now, another bench warrant has been issued to find Kamil Lesiak in connection with the same appalling incident, on November 28, 2015.
The 24-year-old was expected to attend a hearing at Liverpool Magistrates Court last Wednesday, but he did not show up, a spokesman confirmed.
A warrant was issued for his arrest and Lesiak remains at large, Merseyside Police said today.
It follows an earlier hearing, just weeks earlier, when the suspect, who has previously been charged, was listed on court papers on June 9.
Those proceedings were adjourned when Lesiak was not in attendance.
Officers will now be trying to locate Lesiak, of Maxton Road, Kensington, visiting his home address and homes of any associates he may have.
The 24-year-old is charged with rape, false imprisonment, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and causing a man to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.
