Police search for missing girl, 12, as they appeal for information from the public

Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a 12-year-old girl who went missing from home yesterday.

Brooklyn Nash was last seen in Southport, Merseyside at around 4pm on Saturday afternoon, said police.

She was wearing a grey hoodie, black leggings and pink Air Jordan trainers at the time, reports LancsLive.

Brooklyn is described as a white female, around 5ft 5in tall of medium build with long, straight brown and blonde hair. She has links to the Manchester area.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Please share and help us find 12-year-old Brooklyn Nash who is missing from home in Southport.

"Brooklyn was last seen in Southport at around 4pm on Saturday 18 June."

The force added: "When last seen, Brooklyn was wearing a grey hoodie, black leggings and pink Air Jordan trainers.

"Brooklyn has links to the Manchester area and Liverpool City Centre area, including Williamson Square.

"If you see Brooklyn or have any information about where she is please DM @MerPolCC or call 101."

Anyone sightings of Brooklyn can also be passed to police via an online form.
