Police release number of new fines in each district for breaking coronavirus rules

The PSNI has issued 377 fines and 639 community notices against people flouting lockdown restrictions between March 30 and May 1.

And 88 out of the total number of notices were issued in the past week.

Antrim and Newtownabbey has had the largest number of community resolution notices (17) of all the districts in the last seven days.

Belfast saw four penalty notices for disorder fines issued, with the same number issued in Newry, Mourne and Down and Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon.

Police have provided a full breakdown of the statistics for all of Northern Ireland's 11 district council areas for the past week.
