Police release CCTV images after late night attack outside Scots boozer

CCTV images have been released of a man after a serious attack outside a Scots boozer.

Police raced to Hootenannies Public House on Howard Street in Glasgow after being alerted to the incident at 9.05pm on Monday, May 9. Medics attended and on arrival, they found a person with serious injuries.

Officers have released an image of a man who they believe could assist them with their inquiries into the incident. They want to hear from anybody who may know him.

He is described as being white, aged between 18 to 30-years-old and of a medium build. At the time of the assault, he was wearing an orange hooded jumper, dark shorts, and dark socks and footwear.

Detective Constable James Herbison said: “I would urge the man, or anyone who has information relating to the man, depicted in this image to make contact with the Police. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow CID via 101 quoting reference number 3570 of May 9.

"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be passed on anonymously.”
