Police probe after 'unexplained' death of man in Twickenham convenience store

Police are investigating after a man in his 60s was found unresponsive in a shop and later died in hospital.

Emergency services were called to a convenience store in Kneller Road, Twickenham at 7.18pm on Thursday.

They found a man aged in his 60s unresponsive. He was rushed to hospital but died a short while later

His next of kin have been informed, Scotland Yard said.

A Met Police spokesman added: "A post-mortem examination is due to be held and a formal identification awaits.

"At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained.

"Enquiries into the full circumstances also continue."
