Police looking for parents of toddler found alone in Gungahlin

Police are trying to find the parents of a young girl found alone in Ngunnawal.

ACT Policing said the girl, believed to be 2 to 3 years old, had been found on Newlop Street in Ngunnawal near Horse Park Drive.

She has short brown hair, brown eyes and is wearing a white and blue Cinderella dress with purple and blue thongs.

Police said she was safe and well and "is currently being entertained by offices at Gungahlin Police Station".

Family, carers or anyone who may know the child have been asked to come forward as a matter of urgency either to Gungahlin Police Station or by calling ACT Policing on 13 14 44.
