Police are searching for a missing woman last seen at the top of Scotland's highest mountain.
Sarah Buick, 24, was last pictured at the summit of Ben Nevis around 5am on Tuesday morning and has not been seen since.
The Dundee woman is said to be a 'keen walker ' and may have moved to other locations in the Lochaber area.
An appeal from Police Scotland Highlands and Islands Division read: "Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses that can assist in tracing Sarah Buick in the Lochaber area.
"Sarah is a keen walker and was last known to be, as pictured at the Summit of Ben Nevis at 05:00 hours 22/06/21, however she may have moved on to other locations within the area.
"If you have sighted Sarah at any time on or after 22/06/21 please contact the Police straight away on 101, quoting incident number PS-20210622-2741."
Inspector Nick Hough of Fort William Police Office said: “As time goes on we are becoming increasingly concerned for Sarah.
"She is an experienced walker and often makes trips alone, but it is very unlike her to be out of contact with friends and family for this length of time.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Ben Nevis or Glen Nevis area over the last 36 hours and has seen anything which may help our searches to please get in touch.”
She is described as being around 5ft 3ins tall, of a slim build with long brown hair. At the time she went missing she was wearing a light green jacket and carrying an orange rucksack.
In a tragic Facebook post from Sarah yesterday she took stunning views from the top of the UK's highest point.
The former Grove Academy pupil posted at just after 6am: "Good morning from Ben Nevis!"
