Police launch enquiry after East Kilbride church and dentists broken into

Police in East Kilbride are appealing for information after a church and dental practice were broken into.

Enquiries are ongoing after the Old Parish Church and Graygables Dental surgery in the Village were targeted overnight into Tuesday (yesterday).

The buildings are on Montgomery Street and police say the incidents appear to be linked.

They are now asking anyone who may have CCTV footage covering the area to get in touch.

Police haven't confirmed whether any items were taken or how much damage was caused.

PC Katie Edwards from East Kilbride police office said: "Both buildings were broken into overnight into January 19.

"The incidents appear to be linked and scenes of crime have attended to each.

"We are continuing with enquiries to trace who is responsible.

"We are appealing for witnesses who noted anything suspicious or might have CCTV from 18/19 January which may have captured something.
