Police have released CCTV of a woman they wish to speak to after a woman was punched in the face outside a Newcastle bar.
Emergency services were called following a report that a woman had been assaulted outside of The Mushroom on Grainger Street.
Paramedics treated a 27-year-old woman at the scene for minor injuries after she had been punched in the face in the early hours of July 14.
The attacker fled the scene before officers arrived.
Nobody has been arrested in connection with the assault in Newcastle city centre but now police have released an image of a woman they need to speak to.
Officers say she was in the area at the time of the assault and could assist police with their inquiries.
The woman, or anyone who knows her identity, should contact police on 101 quoting crime reference 089064Y/19.
