Police are appealing for information after a Galston man vanished more than two weeks ago.

Nathan Strachan was last seen in the town at around at around 1.30pm on Sunday, September 29 and was reported missing the following day.

The 25-year-old is white, around 6ft 2ins tall with an athletic build. It is unknown what he was wearing at this time.

Nathan has links to the North Yorkshire area.

Local Inspector Derek McMurdo said “Enquires are well underway but we are now seeking the assistance of the public to help us locate Nathan.

“Nathan could have used public transport, possibly the rail network, to travel to Ayrshire. I would ask anyone with information, or who has seen Nathan since this time, to contact us.

“I would also want to issue a personal request to Nathan to attend at a local police station or to contact one of his friends or family so that we can ensure he is safe and well."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0968 of 11 October 2019.
