Police investigating 'sudden and unexplained' death of Cardiff man release CCTV images

Police are trying to piece together the final movements of a Cardiff man in the days before he was found.

Paul O’Brien's body was found at an address in Clare Road, Grangetown, at around 9am on Wednesday, March 25.

The weekend before the "sudden and unexplained" death CCTV footage captured the 44-year-old walking around Cardiff city centre wearing a distinctive blue jacket.

South Wales Police has now released the CCTV images of Mr O'Brien and detectives are appealing for help in piecing together his movements in the days before his death.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or been with him in the days before he died. They have also stressed that his death is not being treated as Covid-19 related.

Anyone with information about Mr O’Brien’s whereabouts in the days preceding Wednesday, March 25, is asked to contact South Wales Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference 2000102846.
