Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man found in South Melbourne overnight.
The man, who is yet to be identified, was found by a member of the public with multiple wounds outside a building in Dorcas Street at about 9:30pm.
Paramedics attempted to save the man but he died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
