A police incident near Fairfield Hospital is causing delays to public transport.
Bus operator Rosso announced that the incident has caused delays to their Trax service between Bury , the hospital and Rochdale . Rosso also said that the B4 service between Bury and Heywood is also affected in both directions.
Rosso moved to reassure customers that all of their buses were in order but that they would be running behind schedule, and advised customers to look at the app for up-to-date travel information.
A spokesman for the bus company tweeted: "There has been a Police incident near to Fairfield Hospital.
"Unfortunately we are seeing delays on our Trax and B4 in both directions. All our vehicles are running but may be subject to delays.
"Head to our app Transdev Go for live departure times from your stop."
The Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police for more information about the nature of the incident.
