Police are searching for a man after he threatened two workmen with a gun this morning.
Victoria Police said in a statement the two tradies arrived at work at a newly constructed townhouse in Metelmen Court in Broadmeadows about 7:15am.
They heard noises and saw a man coming down the stairs armed with a gun.
The two men ran out of the house and called the police after the gunman threatened them with the firearm.
Police have cordoned off the area and are unsure if the man is still inside the house.
