Police are looking to speak to the man in this photo - (BTP)

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault and robbery on board a train in south London.

Officers were called at around 11.30am on Wednesday, May 6, following reports a disabled man had been attacked on board a train coming in to Bromley station.

The victim’s mobile phone was snatched and he was left feeling shaken and distressed by the incident, police say.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information which could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 245 of 6 May.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
