Police are hunting the driver a car that was spotted driving 'dangerously' in Kilmarnock before the motor was found crashed in the early hours of the morning.
Cops say that they were advised of a Red Ford Fiesta motor vehicle driving in a dangerous manner on Grassyards Road at around 11.50pm on Saturday night.
The same car was later found crashed on Garden Street less than an hour later at 12.25am on Sunday. The driver was not at the scene of the smash.
PC Agnew of Kilmarnock Police Office said: “We are appealing for information following reports of a vehicle driving dangerously and being involved in a road traffic collision.
"Enquiries are ongoing but we are appealing to anyone within the area who may have witnessed anything or have CCTV and/or dashcam to check and contact Police Scotland”
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 4701 of the 14th August 2021. Alternatively you can contact crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
