Police have found a body in the search for a missing woman.
Janice Cleworth, 46, from Wigan, was last seen on Charles Street in Leigh on May 25 at around 4pm. Police issued an appeal on Thursday, June 2 after the 46-year-old had been missing for more than a week, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Officers released a photo of Janice, also known as Janice Twist, in the bid to help find her. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson has confirmed that a woman was found dead on Saturday, June 4.

The appeal that had more than a thousand shares and also showed the hoodie that Janice was last seen wearing which had 'Clewy 7' written on the back. She was wearing black skinny jeans, trainers and a pink shoulder handbag.
