Merseyside Police dogs despatched PD Yoda to disarm an aggressive male carrying weapons on the streets of Liverpool.
Officers received reports of an armed man behaving aggressively and called upon the services of PD Yoda to tackle the offender.
The fearsome canine proved a force to be reckoned with and the suspect handed himself in.
The man has been arrested and detained pending further enquiries.
Mersey Police Dogs tweeted: "Following reports of an aggressive male in the street armed with weapons, PD Yoda was soon on scene. Upon sighting (and hearing!) Yoda, the offender sensibly surrendered and was detained by officers."
