Police deal with incident at Kilmarnock town centre bank

Police have been dealing with an incident at a bank in Kilmarnock town centre this evening.

Officers have been positioned at the Bank of Scotland premises on King Street.

The road around the bank was not able to be used while it was blocked off by police vehicles.

It was confirmed on Wednesday that this was an accidental activation of an alarm at the building.
