Officers say the drivers, who were all breaking the 30mph speed limit by between six miles per hour up to 11 miles per hour, were issued with a Traffic Offence Report and educated on the dangers of speeding. It is all part of a Fatal Four operation which focuses on the four most common reasons why a death occurs on the road: drink and drug driving, speeding, using a mobile phone while driving and not wearing a seat belt.

Mansfield District Police said: "This morning the Mansfield Operation Reacher Team have attended Nottingham Road and Chatsworth Drive, Mansfield where they have been conducting a Fatal 4 Operation. Several vehicles were stopped and drivers were given words of advice about their manner of driving.
