Missing Scots teen found safe and well

A missing Scots teenager has been found safe and well after police said they were 'concerned for his welfare'.

Jack Watson had been reported missing from Aberdeen.

The 17-year-old was last seen in the South College Street area on Saturday.

A police spokesperson confirmed on Monday: "Police Scotland are pleased to report that Jack Watson who had been reported missing from South College Street area of Aberdeen, has now been traced safe and well.

"We would like to thank everyone who assisted in this enquiry."

He was described as being around five foot, six inches tall and of an average build with short, brown hair and braces on his teeth.

Jack was believed to have been wearing a dark-coloured jacket, dark jogging bottoms and black trainers.

The teen has links to the Kirkcaldy area of Fife and is known to travel by bus and train.

Officers had urged anyone with information on Jack's whereabouts, or those who think they have seen him, to come forward.
