Police 'concerned' for Scots man who vanished four days ago

Police are appealing for information to help trace a Caithness man who's been missing for four days.

Douglas Macgregor was last seen leaving his home address in the Castletown area of Wick at around midday on Wednesday, June 30.

The 64-year-old is described as five foot, six inches tall with grey and white hair that is receding and thinning.

It is unknown what he was wearing at this time.

It's believed Douglas was driving his silver, Honda Civic with the registration OW56 EVC.

Police are 'concerned' for his wellbeing.

Anyone with information on Douglas' whereabout is being urged to come forward.

Officers also made a direct appeal to Douglas to get in touch.

Constable Stephen Todd said: “We are concerned about Douglas’ wellbeing as he has not been seen or heard from since Wednesday, June 30 2021.

“We are appealing for anyone who recognises Douglas, or has information regarding his whereabouts to please come forward.

“We would also urge Douglas to please get in touch with someone to confirm that she is ok.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 1857 of Saturday, July 3, 2021."
