Police called to Maxwell Road in Pollokshields after man seriously assaulted

Police have tonight been called to Pollokshields after a man was seriously assaulted.

Emergency services raced to the scene on Maxwell Road in the south side of Glasgow shortly after 5.30pm this evening.

Officers have launched an investigation into the attack and police say enquiries are at an early stage.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live : "Officers were called to the report of a serious assault on a man in Maxwell Road in Glasgow at around 5.40pm tonight, Thursday, 15 October 2020.

"Enquiries are at an early stage. "
