
Police are urging witnesses to come forward after a man was stabbed in Gowrie last night.
Police believe the 23-year-old man was attacked in the car park of the Erindale Scout Hall on Castleton Crescent before fleeing to a service station on Benham Street, Chisholm.
Emergency services were called to the service station about 8.50pm on Thursday. The man had stab wounds to his legs, hands and neck.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was transported to hospital. The current condition of the man is unknown.
The injured man reported there was at least one person involved in the attack.

It represents the second stabbing incident in Canberra within a week, after a man was stabbed to death and a teenager severely injured at the Weston skatepark on Sunday. It is understood the two incidents are not linked.
