Police appeal for help tracing missing 14-year-old Johnstone girl

Renfrewshire police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a 14-year-old girl.

Monica Monaghan was last seen around 6.20pm on Friday, October 22, in the Greenend Avenue area of Johnstone.

The teen is described as being around 4ft, 11in in height, with long black hair. When last seen she was wearing a grey body warmer, black leggings and white trainers.

It is believed Monica may have travelled to the Ayrshire area.

Constable Stuart Hodge, said: “I am appealing for anyone who has seen Monica, or has any information on her whereabouts to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 4158 of 22 October.
