Police appeal after Heanor Tesco security guard 'threatened with a knife'

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after reports a Tesco security guard was 'threatened with a knife'.

Officers are investigating reports a security guard was threatened by a shoplifter at Tesco in Heanor.

The incident reportedly happened at around 3.30pm on Thursday, November 4, at the Tesco in Heanor.

Police were called to reports that a shoplifter threatened a security guard with a knife.

Police officers have released a picture of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Derbyshire Constabulary have asked anyone with information to contact the force on 101, quoting reference 21*643507, or via the official Derbyshire police Facebook and Twitter accounts and website.
