Player grades: Fox, Kings outlast Bulls in final seconds on Wednesday

Another clutch game situation, another loss for the Chicago Bulls.

This time around, the loss came at the hands of De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, 117-114.

With the game tied with just 12.1 seconds remaining, the Kings had the ball to try to win the game, which Fox did with a 26-foot hit from downtown with just 0.1 seconds left.

This loss marks Chicago’s 23rd loss in a clutch situation this season, which for a team who is fighting for a play-in spot, hurts even more.

DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with a game-high 33 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals on 10-of-20 shooting from the floor and 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

DeMar DeRozan: B+

DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Bulls against the Kings on Wednesday, finishing with a game-high 33 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals on 10-of-20 shooting and 4-of-6 from downtown.

Zach LaVine: B

Zach LaVine continued his scoring streak despite falling short to the Kings, finishing with 25 points, five rebounds, and six assists on 7-of-2 shooting from the floor and a perfect 9-of-9 from the free throw line.

Nikola Vucevic: B

Nikola Vucevic was a beast on the boards, but struggled with his outside shot on Wednesday. Vooch finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and three assists on 8-of-22 shooting from the floor but 0-of-7 from 3-point range.

Patrick Beverley: B

Patrick Beverley struggled shooting from the field in Wednesday’s loss, finishing with just three points on 1-of-7 shooting along with 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks while fouling out in 29 minutes.

Patrick Williams: B+

Patrick Williams filled up the box score on Wednesday, finishing with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, four steals, and one block on 5-of-12 shooting from the floor and 3-of-5 from downtown on a team-high +13 for the game.

Coby White: B+

Coby White played well off the bench in Wednesday’s loss, finishing with 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range.
