Pizza Hut restaurants in Bristol to give away thousands of free pizzas

Thousands of free pizzas are up for grabs this month as part of a huge giveaway from Pizza Hut.

Whether you’re embarking on the Veganuary challenge or wanting to give plant-based a taste, diners will have the chance to claim a free individual vegan pizza by heading to their local Pizza Hut restaurant.

This promotional offer will entitle each diner to a free vegan pizza at the end of the month (between Monday, January 24 and Friday, January 28) as part of the Veganuary campaign to highlight plant-based options in their restaurants.

The pizza chain has partnered with the leading cheese alternative company Violife this month to demonstrate how simple plant-based eating can be when eating out.

Violife offers an extensive range of dairy-free options to cheese made through more environmentally friendly production processes.

Cheese lovers can reduce their climate impact by changing from dairy cheese to vegan alternatives, with a study revealing that those Violife products examined have less than half the carbon footprint of dairy cheese.

Speaking on the collaboration, Toni Vernelli, Head of International Communications at Veganuary, said: ‘’Choosing a plant-based diet is one positive step each of us can take to protect our planet and our health.

“It’s great to see companies like Pizza Hut and Violife embracing this opportunity and providing tasty, satisfying, sustainable options for the growing number of climate-conscious consumers.”

There are a variety of vegan pizzas that riff off old favourites: a Vegan Margherita, Vegan Veggie, Vegan Hot ‘N’ Spicy Veg, Vegan ‘Pepperphoni’ Feast and their new Vegan Flamin’ Buffalo pizza.

Pizza enthusiasts will have to act fast to get a slice of the action - restaurants across England will be awarded 1,000 vouchers between them for each day of the promotion period.

There are two Pizza Hut restaurants based in the city - Bristol Longwell Green and Cribbs Causeway - where the promotion will be available while stocks last.

Customers should note that this promotional offer operates on a first come, first served basis and is only available for dine-in only from January 24-28, valid for individual pan, thin or gluten-free vegan pizza.

To obtain your free pizza, you simply need to ask your server when you enter the restaurant for a Violife voucher for your free individual vegan pizza.

Pizza Hut launched its first vegan option in the UK back in 2017, followed by its first dedicated vegan menu in 2019, with the choice of 16 vegan toppings and three vegan bases.

The menu has expanded further to include plant-based starters, siders and desserts to ensure every point of the meal is covered.
