Pitchside camera picks up David de Gea laying into Luke Shaw during Man Utd loss to Tottenham

Video footage has emerged which shows Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea screaming in anger at Luke Shaw during one of Tottenham's goals in their 6-1 humiliation on Sunday.

United suffered their record-equalling heaviest Premier League defeat ever as Spurs ran riot at Old Trafford, and the pressure is now growing on their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he desperately tries to turn their poor form around.

Once United were reduced to 10 men with Anthony Martial sent off for a slap on Erik Lamela the game was effectively lost, but De Gea was still livid with Shaw for the part he played in Spurs' fourth goal.

As Serge Aurier received the ball on the right wing, Shaw had taken up a decent position in the box, keeping a close eye on both Lamela and Heung-min Son.

Harry Kane, though, was lurking just outside the box, but De Gea can be heard warning Shaw against going to close the England star down when he shouts: "No, Luke! No, Luke! Run!"

Shaw ignored his keeper, however, and this vacated space for Son to sneak in and tap home from Aurier's cross to make it 4-1.

Once the goal is scored, De Gea turns to Shaw in dismay and shouts: "What is your problem. Hey?"

Things didn't get any better from there for Shaw, and he was lucky not to be sent off deep into the second half after cynically taking down Lucas Moura while making no attempt whatsoever to play the ball.

Shaw could soon be replaced in Solskjaer's line-up following the signing of fellow left-back Alex Telles on transfer deadline day, and it remains to be seen if he features in United's first game after the international break, which is a trip to face Newcastle on October 13.
