Piers Morgan in furious rant about 'utterly ridiculous' gender-neutral Mr Potato Head

Piers Morgan was incredibly passionate this morning as he indulged in an early morning rant... about the new gender-neutral Mr Potato Head.

Who would have thought Piers wasn't a fan of the rebrand?!

Last week, it was revealed that Mr Potato Head would be getting a gender-neutral name as part of a modern makeover after 70 years.

Hasbro, the company behind the toy, have said that the brand will now be simply renamed as "Potato Head".

Piers fumed on Good Morning Britain today: "Like Superman was called Superman. Would that be allowed these days? Of course it wouldn't. Superman would have to be Superperson. Or Super Genderfluid.

"And if you think this isn't going to happen, these are massive companies making these decisions to appease the wokies. And does it matter in the general scheme of things? Not really.

"Is it symbolic, actually, of this rapidly encroaching abandonment of gender terminology."

This certainly wasn't Piers' first rant of the day - the presenter was also left raging over Meghan and Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The 51-year-old compared the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to "dictators" over their want of positive media coverage.

Today on Good Morning Britain, a clip of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex speaking to Oprah was aired, with Harry saying that he feared "history was repeating itself" prior to them leaving the UK.

Responding to the clip, Susanna Reid remarked: "It's quite remarkable, isn't it!"

Piers quickly went onto blast Harry for hitting out at the media coverage turning "toxic".

"They only want positive media coverage," Piers fumed, before comparing them to Kim Jong-Un and Vladimir Putin, leaving Susanna stunned.

Referencing Prince Harry's interview with James Corden last month, he continued: "Does it get any more embarrassing than this - being on an open top bus while banging on about press coverage?"
