Pictures of devastation as VW Golf crashes into terraced house

A number of people have been taken to hospital after a car ploughed into the side of a house in Oldham.

The red VW Golf collided with the terraced property in Hollins Road shortly before 5am on Sunday.

Police say a number of people were taken to hospital.

It's unclear how many people were in the car at the time, and how seriously they were hurt, a GMP spokesman said.

Part of Hollins Road is closed while crash investigators gather evidence.
