Pictures: More partying and perfect blue skies as revellers enjoy third day of Manchester Pride

It's been another unbelievable day at the Manchester Pride Festival - another day of high energy partying and perfect blue skies.

The bars along Canal Street were pumping music out of windows before the clock had even hit midday and despite being on day three of celebrating, Pride-goers were straight back to dancing.

Today, Sunday August 29, is the third day of the annual Manchester Pride Festival, the first major organise event to take place in the city since March 2020.

The day started a little more cautiously than the first two days of Pride - there were more sausage sandwiches than pints of lager in hands today.

But after 18 months of online parties and Zoom everything, Mancs soon hit their stride.

Tomorrow's candlelit vigil at Sackville Gardens will bring the event to a close.

But there are still plenty of hours of partying ahead.
