A teenager shot dead in north London has been named by police as a boy aged 17 appeared in court charged with his murder.
Keanu Harker, 18, collapsed on Great Cambridge Road, Enfield less than half a mile from his home.
Metropolitan Police officers were called at 8.45pm on Thursday to reports of gunshots fired.
They attended the scene along with the London Ambulance Service, who treated Keanu before transporting him to a nearby hospital.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he later died from his injuries.
His family have been informed and are currently being supported by specialist officers.
A 17-year-old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was arrested on Sunday.
He will appear before Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday accused of murdering Keanu.
Another suspect - aged 24 - held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder is in police custody.
Several lines of enquiry are active, police said.
Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, who leads policing in Enfield, said: “Our thoughts remain with Keanu’s family and friends, and anyone else affected by his death. This is a shocking incident to happen in any community.
“We are working at pace to ensure that those responsible for Keanu’s death are held to account.
“I would urge anyone who could assist us with our investigation to contact police immediately and to refrain from speculating about this incident online.
