A 16-year-old has been charged with murder after a boy was killed when a fight at a Hackney house party spilled onto the street.
Brayan David Saldarriaga, 15, from Haringey, was found with stab wounds in Poplar Close and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said officers were called to the Mabley Green area of Hackney shortly after 7.15pm on Monday after reports of a stabbing and disorder involving machete-wielding thugs.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was also charged with the possession of a bladed article.
He will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court later today.
The victim’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, the Metropolitan Police said.
