The Florida Gators opened the Georgia-Florida game with an opening drive touchdown. Georgia answered with a field goal and then some en route to scoring 36 straight unanswered points. The Georgia defense set the Bulldogs up with a few short fields.
Pass rushers Jalon Walker and Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins both recorded strip sacks for Georgia. True freshman Joenel Aguero blocked a second quarter Florida punt for a safety.

Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey topped 100 receiving yards in Georgia’s dominant victory. Once again, quarterback Carson Beck threw for over 300 yards and added two touchdown passes in a Georgia victory.
Georgia’s defense, specifically the pass rush, turned things up a notch after the bye week. The Georgia defense recorded a season-high in sacks against Florida.
