The 2023 FIBA World Cup semifinals are set after Wednesday’s last two quarterfinals.
The Oklahoma City Thunder went 1 of 2 in the quarterfinals. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort and Canada advanced to the final four with their win against Slovenia. Davis Bertans and Latvia had their improbable run conclude with a close loss to Germany.

Gilgeous-Alexander led Canada to the win with 31 points on 12 shots against Slovenia. He outdueled Luka Doncic in a game that featured arguably the two best FIBA players.
