Phillip Schofield have declared that Europe 'hate us' after the United Kingdom's humiliation at the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night.
Bookmakers didn't rate UK act James Newman's chances going into the final in Rotterdam, with his odds of winning as low as 300/1.
But, while some bookies had him as favourite to finish bottom at Eurovision, they and many viewers cheering James on at home, weren't prepared for him to end the night with zero points.
After receiving nothing from the juries, Brit-winning songwriter James was told in rather brutal fashion that he failed to get any votes from the public either.
He seemed to take the result on the chin but, reacting to the dire Eurovision result on Monday's This Morning, Phillip was less diplomatic.
Speaking to guest Matthew Wright, Phillip said: "We came absolutely bottom; it was an embarrassment to watch.
"I felt so sorry for James Newman representing us. I mean they hate us!"
Matthew replied: "I've seen a lot of pro-Brexiteers spending the weekend saying it isn't anything to do with Brexit but I think it probably is something to do with it."

Phillip added: "Even before Brexit we haven't won for ages," to which Matthew responded: "The song, whichever way you look at it, James' song was not a 'nil points' song. There were plenty of contenders for nil points on the evening.
Praising James for his defiant reaction to the result, fellow guest Julia Hartley-Brewer remarked: "James Newman's reaction when he got up and cheered as as if he'd won was really classy.
"I have to say 'nul point' glory over mid-table mediocrity every single time. You either win it or lose it.
"I love Eurovision and I think coming last is the funniest thing because the whole of Europe takes this very seriously. They genuinely think this is a serious contest about serious music.
"We realise it's an absolute load of nonsense!"
