Phillip Schofield beams as he and wife Steph enjoy trip to theatre with daughters

Phillip Schofield looked in his element as he spent time with his family over the weekend.

The This Morning presenter, 59, bravely came out in 2020 admitting that after 27 years of marriage he had realised he was gay but has remained married to Stephanie Lowe - with who he shares grown-up daughters Ruby and Molly.

And as the family stepped out to celebrate Ruby's 26th birthday over the weekend, the family appeared in high spirits as they enjoyed a busy night.

They started by dining at Circo Populaire before heading to Soho House prior to strolling around London's West End before entering the Sondheim Theatre to watch Les Miserables.

The group - who were also joined by one of Phil and Steph's daughter's boyfriends - laughed and giggled as they chatted before taking their seats.

Phil cut a dapper figure in a blue knit and jeans under an overcoat and complete his look with suede boots.

Steph wrapped up in a leather jacket, white scarf and jeans while Ruby styled up a white fitted top with jeans and Molly stepped out in a black cashmere coat.

Phillip and Steph have remained close and have hey are often spotted at high-profile events together since Phil came out.

He told The Mirror in October last year that there were no plans for them to divorce.

He said: "We're picking our way through. It's a work in progress.

"I'm still married to Steph. With divorce... we've not discussed that at all."

The couple tied the knot at Ackergill Tower in Scotland on 29 March 1993 after meeting when Stephanie was working as a production assistant on the BBC in the early 90s.

Phillip wrote an autobiography where he was open about coming out and the situation with his family.

He hit out at suggestions that he'd lied to Steph by marrying her as he said: "I didn’t know I was gay when I married Steph. If I had, I wouldn’t have got married."

He added: "When things got really dark, [Steph] reminded me how much they all loved me and that there was nothing that the four of us couldn’t cope with."
