Phillies vs. Braves postponed, will play doubleheader Wednesday

A daylong rain storm and not-so-promising forecasts led to a postponement Tuesday night before the gates ever opened at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies and Braves will play a single-admission doubleheader on Wednesday. The start time for the first game will be pushed ahead an hour, to 12:05 p.m., from the originally scheduled one.

It will be the Phillies' second doubleheader in nine days.

The Phillies will start Jerad Eickhoff in the first game and Mark Leiter Jr. in the second of Wednesday's games. Atlanta is scheduled to use R.A. Dickey and Julio Teheran.
