Philippe Coutinho's agent arrives in Paris for transfer talks with PSG amid Neymar swap

Philippe Coutinho's agent has jetted into Paris to attempt to thrash out a deal for the attacker at Paris-Saint Germain.

Brazilian Coutinho is set to be the final part of the jigsaw which will see Neymar move in the other direction and return to Barcelona , say Sport.

The former Liverpool star is seen as disposable by Barca after an inconsistent year and a half at the Nou Camp - during which he has made 76 appearances.

Coutinho has also been the interest of Bayern Munich, who are looking for a James Rodriguez replacement, in recent days, while a move back to the Premier League with Tottenham ended with the English deadline last week.

Barca representatives director of football Eric Abidal, board member Javier Bordas and Neymar's intermediary Andre Cury are also in the French capital to get the Neymar deal over the line.

It is just two years since Neymar moved to the Parc des Princes in a world-record £198 million transfer.

If Coutinho was to turn down a move to PSG, Barca would offer either Nelson Semedo and Ivan Rakitic to accelerate the transfer, according to Spanish publication  Sport .

Neymar is also considering an offer from Real Madrid , with Zinedine Zidane cryptically saying: "Neymar is not [in our squad] but until September 2, anything can happen."

It is thought Neymar would prefer a move to his former club Barca, but Madrid could provide competition if the Catalan's cannot reach an agreement.

Madrid have reportedly tabled an offer of £130 million plus James Rodriguez in exchange for Neymar, but PSG are not interested in the Colombian.

They instead have asked for playmaker Isco or either of Madrid's goalkeepers, Thibaut Courtois or Keylor Navas, to be included.
