Philadelphia Eagles to release CB Rasul Douglas

After unsuccessfully trying to find a trade partner, the Philadelphia Eagles are releasing cornerback Rasul Douglas per Ian Rapoport.

A 3rd-round pick from West Virginia, Douglas played in 46 games with 18 starts for the Eagles.

With the Eagles moving on from Douglas and Sidney Jones, Philadelphia’s cornerback group currently includes Darius Slay, Avonte Maddox, Nickell Robey-Coleman, Cre’ Von LeBlanc, and Craig James. James signed a 1-year extension on Friday.
