Philadelphia Eagles had free agent WR Marcus Green in for a tryout

The Philadelphia Eagles are constantly trying to add talent to the roster and on Friday the team quietly worked out free agent wide receiver Marcus Green according to the NFL transaction list via Albert Breer.

Last week Tom Pelissero reported that the Eagles were re-signing Green, and that may be the case, but the team obviously wanted to see him perform first.

Green, 23, was a sixth-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Louisiana-Monroe and spent last season on the Eagles practice squad.

He signed a futures contract in January but was released in a round of cuts that got the roster to under 80 players.
