Manchester City were left frustrated despite taking a point at Anfield in a thrilling 2-2 draw against Liverpool.
A quiet first half on the face of it, VAR checked for a penalty after James Milner appeared to clip Phil Foden - but it took place just outside the box and no foul was awarded.
The 21-year-old was charging towards the Liverpool goal before being halted in his tracks on the edge of the area.
Foden wanted a penalty but referee Paul Tierney waved play on and VAR agreed.

In the second half Milner, already on a booking, was caught out as he brought down Bernardo Silva - but he didn't receive a second yellow for the offence.
Despite the complaints from City players and manager Pep Guardiola in the aftermath of the challenge, Milner was substituted for Joe Gomez shortly after.
Goalscorer Foden was asked about the penalty shout - and also whether Milner could have been given another booking for the Silva incident - in a post-match interview.
"I’m a honest guy I don’t like to go down, I’d like to see the referee reward a free-kick or a penalty for that," Foden told Sky Sports.
"Whatever it is it happens it’s football and I thought we defended well."
Foden also described Anfield as one of the most difficult places to come for opposition players.
He continued: "It is very difficult to come here with the fans. It is one of the most difficult grounds to come to.
"I thought we dealt with it very well.
"We were happy to get the draw on another day we could have taken three points."
