Dec. 29--Former U.S. Open champion Jim Furyk, who has enjoyed great successes on the Hawaiian Islands throughout his career, has priced his golf course estate in Maui at $5.995 million.
Found between fairways of the Plantation course at Kapalua, where Furyk won the Mercedes-Benz Championship in 2001, the property has a 4,090-square-foot main residence, a two-bedroom guesthouse, an infinity pool and sweeping views of the island of Molokai on about two and a half acres.
The open-space floor plan, with arched-beam ceilings and stone accents, features a chef's kitchen, a living room, an office, a workout room and two master suites. Designed for indoor-outdoor living, sliding glass doors off of formal areas open to a covered patio with a barbecue and a fireplace.

The golfer purchased the property in 1999 for $940,000, according to County of Maui records, with the home and accompanying guest home completed in 2001.
