PGA Championship cut: When is it and predicted cut line ahead of the weekend

The PGA Championship is under way at the Bethpage Black course in Farmingdale, New York.

Tiger Woods will be looking to follow his historic Masters victory with a 16th major title here this week, a course at which he won the US Open in 2002, finishing as the only player under par that week.

Defending champion Brooks Koepka has won three of the last four majors he has started in, and having declared winning one of the four top titles as easier than most other tournaments, will be desperate to take his tally to four.

Everyone's first goal this week, however, will be to make the weekend.

The PGA Championship now has just one cut, after 36 holes, having briefly had a double cut up until 1965 when the second cut came after 54 holes.

The top 70 players, including ties, following the opening two rounds will make the weekend and the final two rounds at Bethpage, meaning anyone who is 71st or worst will be heading home.
