PFF Lists Cameron Wake As A Top DE In AFCE

By just browsing the stat sheet, it’s easy to presume Miami Dolphins DE Cameron Wake had a tough year in 2018. The 10-year NFL veteran logged just 6.0 sacks, his lowest total since notching 5.5 as a 27-year old rookie in 2009.

But the folks at Pro Football Focus seem to feel otherwise, as they’ve listed Cameron Wake among their top performers at “EDGE” in the AFC East.

Wake, an unrestricted free agent this offseason, said in December that he hoped to remain in Miami and play again next season. The 37-year old pass rusher is just two sacks short of 100 for his career, all with the Dolphins.
