Petrol prices: Nottingham's cheapest fuel stations as costs soar from Russia's invasion of Ukraine

Drivers have been hit by the biggest weekly hike in fuel prices in at least 18 years due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Figures from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy show the average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts rose from 149.22 on February 28 to 152.95p on Monday, March 7.

Average diesel prices increased from 153.36p to 158.56p over the same period.

The weekly increases of 3.73p for petrol and 5.2p for diesel are the largest in records dating back to June 2003.

With that in mind the website petrolprices.com often updates the costs of petrol station stations across the country.
